The machine is designed to lift crates or pallets containing fruit and to tip and unload them. The crate tipper empties bins into a hopper or on the conveyor, depending on the production line layout. The tipping is hydraulically controlled and operations are performed by pushing the button.

Adjusting the position of the movable flap on the output funnel, regulates the speed of removing contents from the crates.
